Why Own. Studio curates a Material Edit
A significant part of our work happens before anything is drawn up or ordered. It happens in the research — sampling, testing, and evaluating materials against criteria that matter to us and our clients.
The Own. Material Edit is where we open that process up. Each edition profiles a single material we've been working with, specifying recently, or feel deserves more attention than it typically receives in residential interiors.
We're particularly drawn to materials that offer a more sustainable or lower-impact alternative without asking you to compromise on quality, character, or longevity.
